I know it is worth fighting for the women and children who are still unable to raise their voices.
I am deeply proud of myself because, with the love and support of my family—but also through my own strength and determination—I was able to move forward.
I chose not to remain trapped in victimhood. I chose to rise, rebuild myself, and turn my story into purpose. Today, I don’t want to be seen only for what I went through, but for what I chose to do after surviving it.
If my voice can prevent, educate, or help even one person find hope, then every step of this journey has been worth it.
My past is part of my story, but my purpose is what defines my path.

Me siento feliz porque sé que vale la pena luchar por aquellas mujeres y niños que todavía no pueden alzar la voz. Me siento profundamente orgullosa de mí misma, porque con el amor y el apoyo de mi familia, pero también con mi propia fuerza y determinación, logré salir adelante.
Decidí no quedarme atrapada en el victimismo. Elegí levantarme, reconstruirme y convertir mi historia en propósito. Hoy no quiero que me miren solamente por lo que viví, sino por lo que decidí hacer después de haberlo vivido.
Si mi voz puede prevenir, educar o ayudar a que una sola persona encuentre esperanza, entonces cada paso de esta lucha ha valido la pena. Mi pasado forma parte de mi historia, pero mi propósito es lo que define mi camino.
