Fe y Esperanza (Faith & Hope)

Fe y Esperanza, meaning Faith and Hope, was founded in 2011 with a simple but meaningful mission: to serve those in need. From the beginning, the focus was supporting families facing hardship, individuals experiencing poverty, elderly neighbors, and people in crisis.

 

In 2019, everything changed when co-founder Jessica Malone was kidnapped and trafficked for 17 months. Her family never stopped searching, and through relentless efforts, she was safely reunited with her loved ones.

 

That experience transformed the organization's mission. What began as a community support effort grew into a survivor-led nonprofit committed to preventing human trafficking, educating communities, advocating for survivors, and raising awareness about mental health and trauma.

 

Today, Fe y Esperanza blends lived experience with education and outreach to help protect vulnerable individuals, support survivors, and strengthen communities through compassion and action.

 

While the mission has grown, the foundation remains the same: to bring faith, hope, and practical support to those who need it most. We believe that every life has value, every survivor deserves hope, and every community can help create change.
