WHEN A RELATIONSHIP MAKES YOU LOSE YOURSELF

When you are living in a toxic relationship, your world does not fall apart all at once. It begins to break slowly: first, you lose your peace; then, your confidence; and before you realize it, you begin to question your own worth.
You make excuses for hurtful words, controlling behavior, and silence used as punishment. You stay because you remember the good moments and hope that person will become who they once were. But true love should never make you live in fear, guilt, or constant anxiety.
Recognizing that a relationship is destroying you does not mean you have failed. It means you are beginning to awaken. Speaking with someone you trust, seeking professional support, and protecting yourself are also acts of courage.
God did not create you to disappear inside someone else’s life. Your voice matters, your peace is valuable, and you can still rebuild your life—one decision at a time.
